Lisa Jayne Tali Day
When I turned 40 I had a new born baby girl & I wanted her from the start to embrace the happy childhood that I had had. Growing up in a wonderful, loving, close family as I did, with my Mum, Dad & younger siblings, Maxine & Gavin, I experienced the true meaning of love & happiness. This is what I always want to pass on to my daughter who is now 5 years old. My best friend when I was a child was Clare & we played imaginary games all the time. It was a great feeling of passion & expression & 35 years later we both still talked of our role play. I told my daughter all about it & she loved it, but wanted to 'see' what I saw. So here I am with my first ever children's book with many more to follow.
I have lived all my life in Crewe, Cheshire in the UK & here I help run a dance troupe for children & adults. Its so lovely to let children express their emotions through different channels other than speech. I just love to see children happy. This makes way for a magical adulthood. But yes I see myself as a Peter Pan!
Tali is a big fan of reading & role play & she's so excited about Mummy's new book. She takes after me for reading. I love psychological thrillers!
Anyway, with the backing of my beautiful family, my best friends Clare for the great memories & Chris for his amazing talent at illustrating I'm hoping my dream of becoming a children's author is finally here. Love to you all xxx
